Still Knitting...Still Reading...

Crazy few weeks here but I did manage to do some knitting and reading. I really enjoy joining Ginny each week.

I had to take a break from reading The Historian because the library called and scolded me for not bringing one of my (many!) books back. I thought the librarian said all my books were due on January 30th but it turned out one was due earlier...oops.

Anyway, I read it so I could get it back to the library. Munsters Case by Hakan Nesser is another Swedish mystery novel. I just can't get enough of them lately. The library called the other day and had 5 more Swedish mysteries on hold for me. Now if I can just get through The Historian. I feel like it is just sooooo boring. On the train, off the train, in a library, in another library, oh look! A vampire! (but nothing happens!) I am trying because I kid you not, the other day someone else asked me if I read it! I am halfway through right now, so I'll keep going, I am hoping for a big payoff, a point where I am like "oh this is why someone tells me every single week to read this book!!"

I am also reading Raw Energy by Stephanie Touries.

I am still knitting along on a Maxi Dress for my daughter. I was going to knit it all in purple to use up my yarn, but she wanted the hot pink contrast. I like it!

I can't wait to see what everyone is working on and reading this week.

  3. That girl's dress pattern is adorable! :) (I have a knitted dress pattern giveaway over at my place right now... did you enter to win it?)

You must live somewhere small that you librarian actually calls you! Wow. :)

  4. We don't even have libraries here. Or bookstores. Very sad indeed! When we travel, I always hit the bookstores in airports and once I'm in another country, I am always on the hunt for magazines. Happy knitting! Tammy
