I like pink when it is all mixed up with other colors, like in a scrap quilt. I am not such a fan of pink all alone. Somehow I ended up with two pink knits this week which is fine but I'll not let this happen again!
I finished the pair of socks I was working on a few weeks ago and still had some yarn left on the skein. I decided to make a pair of bed socks by making the leg length 3 inches (instead of the 7 inches I did on the first pair). I need to cast on for the second sock but I need quiet to cast on a project and that's been in short supply lately.
I am almost done with A Week in Winter by Maeve Binchy and I started One Square Inch of Silence One Man's Search For Natural Silence in a Noisy World by Gordon Hempton and John Grossmann. I am enjoying both very much. I finished listening to Madame Bovary (Wow, what a powerfully depressing book!) and moved on to Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.
I can't wait to see what everyone is knitting and reading this week.
